In reviewing the reopening Idaho plan presented by Idaho's Governor we have determined that it is safe to begin meeting again. We will begin to meet in person for Sunday morning worship services beginning Sunday, May 17th at 10am. We will be following the social distancing and sanitation protocols recommended by authorities. At this time we will not be having any kids or youth classes but we welcome kids and youth to join their families in the worship service.

As things have progressed over the past several days we have made a decision that we feel is best in light of loving others and keeping the most vulnerable in our community safe. Due to the Coronavirus, Cornerstone Worship Center's Sunday service will be held online on Facebook for awhile. We will be live on Facebook Sundays at 10:00AM. Look for a video update on Facebook from Pastor Keith coming soon to detail ways we plan to stay connected as a church family during this time.

Hi Cornerstone Family,
At Cornerstone Worship Center, we care for each person in our church, physical health included. Because of this, we want you to know that we are closely watching all developments with the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are listening to what our local, federal and global health organizations recommend as we pray over decisions in light of this.
We want you to know that we are making every effort to sanitize the facility, wipe down surfaces and provide soap and as much hand sanitizer as is available so that all who attend remain safe and healthy.
We fully endorse the recommendations that have been made to prevent the spread of COVID-19, such as washing your hands, covering your cough, not touching your face and staying home if you are not feeling well. In staying healthy, we encourage you to look to the CDC and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare for guidance.
Although this situation has created a sense of fear throughout our culture, it’s important that we turn to the Lord in this situation. Remember that God tells us not to be anxious about anything (Phillipians 4:6-7) and that worrying isn’t helpful either (Luke 12:25). But we can take hope in what Psalm 46 tells us, that God is our refuge and strength, and our ever-present help in trouble. Because of this hope let us not fear, but instead use this opportunity to share the hope of Christ with those around us. To be examples of what it looks like to have the peace of Christ in such circumstances.
Our hearts and prayers go out to all those who are affected by the virus. Please join us in praying for those affected by this illness, as well as those caring for others and those who are working diligently to minimize the impact of this virus.
We will continue to live stream our services, so if you are not feeling well or are caring for someone from home you can still be a part of our gatherings. Our 10am Sunday service will be streamed live on Facebook every week.
We are looking forward to worshipping with you this Sunday!
Pastors Keith and Sheri Cookson
